Supercomputer – Giant Pollutant

The presence of supercomputer technology allows people to conduct various studies, such as weather forecasting and research about global warming. Yet, ironically, the supercomputer became one of the polluters are exacerbating global warming.

A supercomputer worth U.S. $ 16 million in the UK able to perform 1 trillion calculations per second. However, behind the powerful ability, it caused negative impacts.

South Korea Satellite Was Lost Just After Launched

A satellite that was launched by the first South Korea’s space rocket (Korea) out of its orbit. This satellite allegedly burned when re-entering the earth’s atmosphere.

As reported by AFP, Wednesday (26/8/2009), the satellite has reached a height of 387 km (242 miles). “After all these heights, the satellite fell to earth and is expected to disintegrate when entered back into the atmosphere,” said Deputy Minister of Science South Korea, Kim Jung-Hyun.

South Korea has invested more than 500 billion won (USD 400 million) for the satellite and 33-meters rocket. The satellite was also become a South Korean national pride.

The satellite was the result of cooperation between South Korea with Russia. “South Korea deal with Separation of upper part, while Russia’s duty is give technical assistance. Therefore the two countries are equally responsible,” said Kim.

Despite failed, South Korea didn’t give up with their commitment to advance the capabilities of space technology. These countries had previously launched 10 satellites with a rocket from another country.

In November 2007, South Korea announced plans to launch satellites that orbit the moon in 2020. They announce their moon-project a month after China first launched their first satellite to moon and 2 months after the Japanese did the same thing.

“We can say this half of the success, even though satellite failed to enter the orbit. We must make our dreams become developed country in space technology, even if it requires us to try 8 times after 7 times failed or 9 times after 8 times failed,” said South Korean President Lee Myung-Bak.

TomTom GPS For iPhone Has Been Released

TomTom has released the GPS navigation application for its iPhone. Applications for U.S. $ 100 iPhone is using the chip built in GPS, for navigation display in real time.

Female Teacher Send Her Nude Photo To Student
